Day 03 :   Trichy – Thanjavur – Rameswaram (300 kms / 6-7 hrs) (B,L,D)

After having an early morning Breakfast check-out from the hotel. Later proceed the journey to Rameswaram via Thanjavur. Thanjavur is also known as “the City of Temples”, THANJAVUR has a lot of cultural value and is known for its famous Tanjore paintings, antiques and handicrafts, textiles and saris, its Carnatic music and musical instruments and of course the temples. Here you can visit Brihadeeswara Temple, Gangaikonda Cholapuram, Thanjai Mamani Koil, Airavatesvara Temple, Royal Palace Museum, Vijayanagar Fort, Saraswathi Mahal Library. Reach Rameswaram by evening. RAMESWARAM is one of the holiest places in India and is located on a beautiful island. It is separated by a small Pamban channel from Sri Lanka.
