Day 01 :   Arrive Srinagar (L,D)

On your arrival at Srinagar Airport meet our tour representative & proceed directly to the hotel in Srinagar. Check-in at the hotel. SRINAGAR sheltered by the snowy White Mountains, popularly known as “Paradise on Earth” and “Venice of the East”, is situated in the beautiful valley of Kashmir & at a height of about 1,585 m. Today you can visit Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens (Shalimar, Chashme Shahi, Nishat), Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Botanical Garden, Shankaracharya Temple, Jama Masjid. Rest of the day is at leisure & free time for shopping.

Dinner & Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 02 :   Srinagar – Kargil (205 kms / 6-7 hrs) (B,L,D)

After having an early morning Breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Later proceed the journey to Kargil via the picturesque Sonmarg (also known as Meadow of Gold) and Drass Valley (Coldest Inhabited Place in India). Drive through Zoji-La Pass (11,578 feet). KARGIL situated at a height of about 2,675 m & drastically close to the Line of Control; is also known as “Land of Agas”. Apart from being a tourist hotspot it is also a volatile region owing to the terrorism prevalent from the other side of the LOC. Today you can visit Kargil or Drass War Memorial, Tiger Hill, Batalik Hill. Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure & free time for shopping at Kargil Main Street.

Day 03 :   Kargil – Leh (220 kms / 5-6 hrs) (B,L,D)

After having an early morning Breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Later proceed the journey to Leh via Lamayuru (also known as Moonland of Ladakh). Drive through Hangro Loops, Namika La Pass (12,198 feet) and Fotu La Pass (13,478 feet). Today you can visit Lamayuru Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Nimmu (Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Patthar Sahib Gurudwara. Situated at a height of about 3,500 m; LEH is also known as “Little Tibet” and ‘the Land of Lamas”. Located in the Ladakh region of Jammu & Kashmir, Leh is known for its stunning scenic locales, Buddhist temples and pristine environment. Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to get acclimatized in this high-altitude city.

Day 04 :   Leh (B,L,D)

After having an early morning Breakfast proceed for full-day local sight-seeing in & around Leh. Today you can visit Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame Museum, Royal Leh Palace, Jama Masjid, Zorawar Fort. Rest of the day is at leisure & free time for shopping at Leh City Market.

Day 05 :   Leh - Nubra Valley (165 kms / 5-6 hrs) (B,L,D)

After having an early morning Breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Later proceed the journey to Nubra Valley which is also known as “the Orchard of Ladakh”. Drive through Khardung La Pass (18,380 feet). Situated at a height of about 3,050 m & known for its orchards, scenic vistas, Bactrian camels and monasteries; NUBRA VALLEY is the northernmost part of Jammu & Kashmir. Today you can visit Diskit Monastery, Maitreya Buddha, Hunder Sand Dunes, Samstanling Monastery. Check-in at the hotel/camp. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 06 :   Nubra Valley– Pangong Tso (280 kms / 7-8 hrs) (B,L,D)

After having an early morning Breakfast, check-out from the hotel/camp. Later proceed the journey to Pangong Tso. Drive through Shyok Village. One of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world and the highest salt water lake, the crystal blue waters of Pangong Tso Lake impeccably reflect the brown mountains around making for a picture perfect postcard. PANGONG TSO, Tibetan for "High Grassland Lake", is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m. It is 134 km long and extends from India to China. Today you can visit Shyok River, Spangmik Village, Pangong Tso Lake, Changthang Cold Desert Wildlife Sanctuary. Check-in at the hotel/camp. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 07 :   Pangong Tso – Leh (225 kms / 5-6 hrs) (B,L,D)

After having an early morning Breakfast, check-out from the hotel/camp. Later proceed back the journey to Leh. Drive through Chang La Pass (17,590 feet). Today you can visit Hemis Monastery, Druk White Lotus School (Rancho School), Stok Palace Museum, Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery. Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure & free time for shopping at Leh City Market.

Dinner & Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 08 :   Depart Leh (B,L)

After having an early morning Breakfast check-out from the hotel. You’ll be dropped at Leh Airport as per your flight timings. Let us be in contact with each other through email, Facebook.... And meet again on one more memorable tour with Globetrot Holidays. Tour concludes.
